US Blackstone invests $600M in India’s AI company Neysa

US private equity firm Blackstone has led a primary equity investment of up to $600 million in India-based AI infrastructure startup Neysa. This investment will grant Blackstone a majority stake in Neysa, with co-investors also participating. The move aims to significantly boost India’s domestic computing capacity, as the country seeks to develop its homegrown AI capabilities amidst rapidly increasing demand for local compute infrastructure.
