Iranian Foreign Minister: Saudi Arabia promises that its territory, waters, and airspace will not be used for attacks against Iran

According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency on March 7, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian stated that Saudi Arabia has promised not to allow its territory, waters, or airspace to be used for attacks against Iran. Abdollahian said Iran does not see neighboring countries as enemies; Iran is a friend to its neighbors. He has maintained contact with Saudi officials. He emphasized that the responsibility for escalating tensions lies with the United States and Israel, whose aggressive actions have put the entire region at risk. U.S. military presence in the region will only undermine security. (Xinhua)
