The 15th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) concluded in Beijing on the afternoon of the 2nd. Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the CPPCC, presided over the closing meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Huning stated that over the past year, the CPPCC has adhered to the organic combination of party leadership, the united front, and consultative democracy, promoted normalized learning and training of the Party’s innovative theories, mechanized research and interpretation, and conscientiously performed its functions and responsibilities with a focus on the central overall situation, actively taking on responsibilities.
