Iran Launches Drone and Missile Strikes on U.S. Military Helicopter Base, No Response from the U.S.

Gate News reports that on March 8, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement saying that the IRGC Navy carried out a joint operation early this morning using drones and ballistic missiles, targeting a U.S. military helicopter base. The statement said the attack precisely hit helicopter maintenance facilities, helicopter and aircraft fuel tanks, and command buildings, causing significant damage. Iran stated that a fierce fire broke out at the base after the attack, with large amounts of black smoke rising, visible from afar. The U.S. has not responded to this incident.
