Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Division Organizes Work Seminar on Comprehensive Utilization of Electrolytic Manganese Residue
To accelerate the comprehensive utilization of electrolytic manganese residue, on March 9, 2026, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization organized a symposium in Beijing on the work related to the comprehensive utilization of electrolytic manganese residue. Representatives from relevant industry associations, research institutions, and enterprises attended the meeting. The meeting pointed out that electrolytic manganese residue has complex components and is produced relatively concentrated in certain regions. Promoting the comprehensive utilization of electrolytic manganese residue is of great significance for advancing high-quality development of the electrolytic manganese industry and improving regional industrial green development levels. During the meeting, experts and scholars introduced the production and comprehensive utilization of electrolytic manganese residue, analyzed current problems and challenges faced in its utilization, and proposed policy recommendations. Companies such as Ningxia Tianyuan Manganese and Guizhou Jinrui Electrolytic Manganese shared their experiences regarding technology routes, production line construction, and operation of electrolytic manganese residue utilization. Moving forward, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization will conduct in-depth industry research on the utilization of electrolytic manganese residue, improve relevant policy and standards systems, accelerate the development and promotion of advanced process technologies, and effectively enhance the level of comprehensive utilization of electrolytic manganese residue.
