Odaily Planet Daily reports that Sam Altman-supported Web3 identity solution World announced today the launch of the developer toolkit AgentKit for the x402 protocol. This tool allows users verified by World to authorize their World ID to AI agents, enabling the AI agents to prove themselves “supported by real humans while protecting privacy” on websites and platforms. World ID is a cryptographic mechanism that can verify users’ unique identities. Through AgentKit, users’ autonomous AI agents can demonstrate their authenticity when making payments, accessing services, and other operations. The x402 protocol, developed by Coinbase, is used for AI agent payments and transactions, with over 100 million payments processed in its V2 release. (The Block)
