The identity project World (formerly Worldcoin), co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, has launched the development tool AgentKit, which allows AI agents to carry cryptographic proof of "genuine human backing" through World ID. The tool integrates with the x402 protocol from Coinbase and Cloudflare, enabling stablecoin micropayments to be embedded at the internet communication layer to support AI agents in conducting automated transactions. World stated that the AI agent economy could potentially reach $3 trillion to $5 trillion by 2030. (CoinDesk)
