This year, March 15th marks the 44th International Consumer Rights Day. Since March, China Life Quzhou Branch and its subsidiaries have carried out a variety of financial consumer rights protection activities themed “Clear Financial Networks, Safeguarding Peace of Mind in Consumption.”

On March 9th, China Life Quzhou Branch held a “Consumer Protection China Life Trend” themed promotional event in the lobby on the first floor of the city. A “Financial Knowledge Convenience Store” was set up, displaying leaflets on preventing illegal fundraising, recognizing telecom fraud, and rational investing on shelves. Staff members dressed as “store managers” explained these topics to customers at the counter using real-life cases. The event also featured interactive games such as “Consumer Protection Market” and “Consumer Protection Bowling,” combining education with entertainment to promote financial knowledge.

On March 12th, the company innovatively created a special promotion called “Intangible Cultural Heritage Paper Cutting Talk on Consumer Protection.” Zhejiang intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting inheritors were invited to the counter to craft themed paper-cutting works like “Leading the Way to Protect Peace” using red paper and scissors. This seamlessly integrated traditional folk customs with financial consumer protection concepts, allowing customers to learn about rational insurance and fraud prevention while experiencing paper-cutting skills.

On the afternoon of March 10th, China Life Quzhou Branch partnered with Fushan Police Station to visit the Fushan Street Xianxue Street Community, providing a small financial knowledge class for elderly residents. The event used formats such as “Insurance Knowledge Popularization,” “Fraud Case Analysis,” and “Prize-winning Fun Q&A” to deliver practical financial consumer protection and anti-fraud knowledge directly to seniors.

During the promotional period, the company and its subsidiaries actively carried out the “Five Accesses” financial education initiative, reaching into communities, villages, enterprises, nursing homes, and schools. In addition to traditional knowledge dissemination, free services such as haircuts, phone screen protectors, and health massages were offered to serve residents’ needs. These small services warmed people’s hearts, and small classrooms helped safeguard citizens’ money.

Next, China Life Quzhou Branch will continue integrating consumer rights protection into all aspects of business operations, regularly conducting diverse and wide-reaching financial knowledge campaigns. With more warm and impactful services, they aim to protect the public’s peace of mind in consumption and contribute to creating a safe, clear, and harmonious financial environment.
