NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that his previous prediction of $1 trillion in AI chip sales did not cover all of the company’s products and indicated that as the company enters new markets, total revenue will exceed that level. During a company event in San Jose, California, Huang said the company expects to complete, recognize, and deliver over $1 trillion in business. He told analysts and investors present that NVIDIA has “strong confidence” in exceeding “$1 trillion.” Less than a day earlier, Huang predicted that NVIDIA’s flagship AI processor would help achieve $1 trillion in sales by 2027, stating that computing demand has “grown 1 million times over the past two years.” Following this news, the company’s stock price rose by 4.8% at one point, then stabilized, ending Tuesday roughly unchanged.
