According to Tianyancha information, Lingban Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. (Rokid) has undergone a business registration change. The company name has changed from “Hangzhou Lingban Technology Co., Ltd.” to “Lingban Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd.,” and the company type has changed from a limited liability company (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan investment, non-wholly owned) to a joint-stock company (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan investment, unlisted). At the same time, the company’s key personnel have also changed. Rokid, Xreal, Thunder Bird Innovation, and Yingmu Technology are collectively known in the industry as the “AR Four Little Dragons.” Public information shows that Rokid was founded in July 2014. It is a product platform company focused on human-computer interaction technology, dedicated to the research and development of AR glasses and other hardware and software products, and building an ecosystem based on the YodaOS operating system. In October 2022, Rokid released the “Metaverse New Species” Rokid Station; in August 2023, Rokid launched the consumer-grade OST (Optical See-Through) personal space computing platform Rokid AR Studio.

Last February, Rokid Glasses became a viral sensation across the internet when they served as “glasses teleprompters” at the Zhejiang Hangzhou Yuhang District High-Quality Economic Development Conference. At that time, Rokid founder and CEO Zhu Mingming wore AI + AR glasses Rokid Glasses and said, “My speech script is in my glasses, and I can turn pages just by using a ring on my finger, making it easy to control,” attracting widespread attention online. Rokid was subsequently also referred to as the “Seventh Little Dragon” outside of the “Hangzhou Six Little Dragons,” which include DeepSeek, Game Science, and Yushu Technology.
