NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced at the annual AI conference GTC that computing demand is entering a rapid growth phase, with NVIDIA’s projected computing power needs from now until 2027 doubling from $500 billion to $1 trillion. Huang recently added that AI chip revenue exceeding $1 trillion is highly “visible.”

Huang stated at a company event in San Jose, California, on Tuesday that the $1 trillion revenue forecast only includes Blackwell and Rubin chips, and does not cover all of NVIDIA’s products, upcoming new products, or additional regions and markets. This suggests that as the company expands into new markets, overall revenue will surpass the $1 trillion mark, and this target will continue to grow. Customers are eager to ensure sufficient chip supply.
