John Lee Arrives in Beijing to Begin Visit

Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John Lee arrived in Beijing this morning (the 3rd) to begin his visit, during which he visited the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). Lee said that the SAR government is actively promoting Hong Kong as an international gold trading center, welcoming state-owned enterprises to participate in gold trading and related industry chain development in Hong Kong. He also emphasized making good use of Hong Kong’s platform advantages as a hub for fundraising, professional services, risk management, and corporate treasury, to expand and strengthen international business development, supporting the high-quality development of the country’s financial sector.
