National People's Congress Representatives Focus on "Raising Shrimp" Reminding Service Platforms to Fulfill Safety Responsibilities
As spring begins, AI “lobster farming” has become a hot topic across the internet. The open-source AI agent tool OpenClaw, whose icon is a red lobster, is nicknamed “Lobster.” It integrates multi-channel communication capabilities with large language models to create a customized AI assistant with persistent memory and proactive execution abilities. A number of domestic tech companies are actively entering the field, and many entrepreneurs see opportunities for “one-person companies” (OPC). Gao Wen, a deputy to the National People’s Congress, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and director of Pengcheng Laboratory, told CCTV News that the emergence of intelligent tools like OpenClaw greatly lowers the barrier to entrepreneurship, but the open-source nature of these tools also raises safety responsibilities. Gao Wen reminded users to be aware of potential cybersecurity risks and emphasized that internet platform companies providing services similar to OpenClaw must assume primary responsibility and fulfill obligations such as security risk assessments.
