Ripple is conducting its largest expansion in Latin America in Brazil, aiming to become a full-service institutional financial infrastructure provider with business scope extending beyond payments. This expansion covers five major product lines: cross-border payments, digital asset custody, stablecoin infrastructure, prime brokerage services, and asset management. Ripple is applying to the Central Bank of Brazil for a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license. Key partners including Banco Genial and Braza Bank have already begun using Ripple's services, with its dollar-backed stablecoin RLUSD reaching a market value exceeding 1.5 billion dollars in Brazil.
