I was looking at some data on Florida's wealthiest suburbs and it's pretty interesting how concentrated the money is in certain areas. According to recent research, the richest areas in Florida are basically dominated by the Miami-Fort Lauderdale corridor. Like, 12 out of the top 24 highest-income suburbs are in that region. Palm Beach is absolutely wild with an average household income of $356k and typical home values over $10 million. That's just insane.

What caught my eye though is the huge gap between the top earners and the rest. Pinecrest comes in second at around $312k average income, but then you drop to places like Lake Butler in the Orlando area at $289k. The Miami suburbs like Coral Gables, Parkland, and Boca Raton are all solidly in the $168k-$229k range, which is still wealthy but nowhere near Palm Beach territory.

It's also interesting how the richest areas in Florida aren't always where you'd expect. Winter Park near Orlando and some of the Jacksonville Beach suburbs show that wealth is spreading beyond just the Miami metro. The typical home values vary wildly too - some of these high-income suburbs have homes averaging $500k-$700k, while others are hitting $2 million plus. The data really shows how Florida's wealthy neighborhoods cluster in specific metro areas, with the Miami-Fort Lauderdale zone being the clear winner.
