Just now, I got itchy again and wanted to chase one more, even moving my mouse to the confirm button… and then I stopped and asked myself: What new information am I actually seeing, or am I just seeing everyone else making money and afraid of missing out? Put simply, when emotions push my position, all that’s in my head is “if I don’t buy now, it’ll be gone.” At least with information pushing my position, I can still clearly explain “why right now.”

Recently, everyone has been comparing RWA and whatever U.S. Treasury yields to on-chain yield products. I’m also tempted, but if I think it through carefully, it’s often not “I understand more,” but “I get more anxious.” My current clumsy method: if I want to add to my position, I first write down two lines of reasons. If I can’t write them, I treat it as an emotional order—better to miss out than to get trapped and squeezed and then come back for psychological therapy.
