I saw a news report about an international crime case; a German hacker was arrested in Bangkok. This guy is 27 years old and has been involved in ransomware since 2021, even establishing a complete cybercrime service system, basically treating crime as a business.

What's even more outrageous is that his clients are worldwide, using DDoS attack tools to help others launch cyberattacks and collecting payments, all paid in cryptocurrencies. Such transnational criminal activities are now being uncovered, facing 74 counts of cybercrime charges, and his visa has been revoked. He's now just waiting to be extradited back to Germany.

These large-scale cybercrime cases are happening more and more, and it seems law enforcement is strengthening international cooperation. But I'm still curious—how do criminals like this stay so active and operate globally for so long?
