ME News Report, April 21 (UTC+8), Nansen announced the introduction of a pay-per-call model, based on the x402 protocol and PayAI infrastructure, optimizing on-chain data access methods. This model allows users to instantly query wallet data, fund flows, and “smart money” signals through micro-payments in USDC, without subscriptions, approvals, or API keys. The system implements an automated “request—billing—payment—response” process based on the HTTP 402 mechanism, supporting AI agents to autonomously complete calls and payments. Nansen stated that the new model now covers all of its API ecosystem, with basic data query pricing at approximately $0.01 per call, advanced signals at about $0.05, and settlement supported on both the Base and Solana networks.
