Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 21, according to Hong Kong 01, a woman met a scammer claiming to be an "investment expert" through Telegram. The scammer used "quantitative trading" and "AI algorithms" as gimmicks, claiming they could guarantee high returns. The woman believed it to be true and transferred about 7.7 million HKD worth of USDT and ETH from her electronic wallet to the scammer's designated wallet 17 times. When she tried to withdraw, the other party delayed and refused with various excuses, revealing she had been scammed. The police remind the public that a "high return + low risk + low threshold" is a 100% scam "impossible triangle," and urge citizens to verify the authenticity of platforms before investing.
