I just saw that TeraWulf closed its common stock public offering worth over $1 billion. They issued 54.5 million common shares at $19 each, resulting in $1.03B raised. Quite impressive for a Bitcoin mining company listed on Nasdaq.
The interesting part is to see how major banks continue to bet on the mining sector. Morgan Stanley led the deal with several heavyweight co-managers. Apparently, the market still sees potential in these companies despite the crypto volatility.
I wonder if this is a sign that they see opportunities in mining at these prices. What do you all think about these funding rounds in the sector?
