Just saw this interview where Elon's dad Errol Musk is basically saying crypto is definitely the future of finance and the traditional banking system is done. Pretty interesting coming from someone his age, honestly. He was talking about how impossible it is to transfer money internationally through banks, but with crypto it's instant. Says he's met founders from major exchanges and has personally received crypto payments that completely bypassed the banking system. What got me though - Errol Musk mentioned that his sons Elon and Kimbal together hold around 23,400 Bitcoin. Tesla alone has 11,509 BTC and SpaceX has 8,285 BTC according to the data. They've also dealt in Solana, apparently received a payment in SOL that was worth over a million rubles at some point. Errol himself doesn't own any crypto yet, says he's old-fashioned and still uses a bank card, but he clearly sees where this is all heading. Kind of wild how the older generation is starting to get it. Makes you wonder if this is just the beginning of mainstream adoption.
