Forbes releases the 2026 AI50 list: OpenAI and Anthropic lead, with 20 new companies on the list
Mars Finance News: On April 21, Forbes China released today its list of the top 50 most promising non-listed AI companies worldwide (AI50). Industry leaders such as OpenAI and Anthropic are still the giants on the list, having received unprecedented funding support from top-tier Silicon Valley venture capital firms and technology giants. It is said that they are preparing for a major IPO. These two AI giants have cumulatively raised $242.6 billion, accounting for about 80% of the total $305.6 billion in funding raised by the AI 50 companies on the list this year. This edition of the list includes 20 new companies, including Reflection, valued at $80 billion. The company is building an open-source model and aims to take on companies such as DeepSeek. Also included is Gamma, an AI presentation tool valued at $21 billion; the company has only 50 people, but its annualized revenue has already surpassed $100 million. Chai Discovery, founded two years ago and valued at $13 billion, is using AI to develop new drugs and accelerate drug development. There is also Rogo, headquartered in New York, whose AI software is used by about 25,000 bankers and investors for data analysis. (Wide-angle Observation)
