April 3, 2026, the mandatory national standard GB 47372—2026 “Safety Technical Specifications for Mobile Power Supplies” was officially released and will come into effect on April 1, 2027. It clearly enhances the safety protection capabilities of mobile power supplies under abuse scenarios such as high temperature, overcharging, and extrusion, and adds new lithium separation detection after cycle aging to reduce the risk of internal short circuits after long-term use of mobile power supplies.
