Recently, I discovered an interesting finding from the Bitcoin Policy Research Institute's survey results. It suggests that AI models tend to prefer Bitcoin over fiat currencies.
The scale of the survey was quite large; they tested over 9,000 conversations involving 36 different AI models. As a result, it became clear that AI agents are more inclined to support Bitcoin rather than traditional fiat currencies.
I think this is a pretty fascinating discovery. Because, if AI derives the "optimal choice" from learning data and prefers Bitcoin over fiat currencies, it indicates a shift in the role of crypto assets within the digital economy.
The discrepancy between the value judgments made by AI and those made by humans will likely become an important topic in future digital finance discussions. Especially in comparing fiat currencies and asset classes like Bitcoin, it’s worth paying attention to how evaluations from a technical perspective will evolve.
The fact that cryptocurrencies are now the subject of academic research itself reflects the increasing maturity of this field. Perhaps the market is also beginning to become aware of these developments.
