I found this interesting historical fact I saw somewhere: back in 2015, the U.S. government auctioned off 50,000 Bitcoins seized from Silk Road, at that time each worth about $270. They only raised $13.5 million from the sale.



Yeah, if you had bought those Bitcoins at that Silk Road auction with all that money, today those same 50,000 BTC would be worth approximately $3.9 billion. With Bitcoin trading at nearly $78,000 now, the difference is staggering.

It's like a Bitcoin history lesson in numbers. It really shows how brutal the appreciation has been over the past decade. It makes us think about what could have been if we had entered the game early.
