Here's the news — The New York Times seriously suggested that Adam Back could be Satoshi Nakamoto himself. Honestly, this isn't the first time he's been linked to the Bitcoin creator, but apparently, the journalists decided to revisit this story once again.
I understand why he's suspected — the guy was really involved from the very beginning. Hashcash, which he created, directly influenced Bitcoin's architecture. Plus, his cryptographic knowledge, his position in the crypto community... it all seems logical from a journalist's perspective.
But Back himself constantly denies this. He says he's not involved in creating Bitcoin and is not Satoshi Nakamoto. Every time, the same story. Either he's truly not the creator, or he's just good at keeping a secret — who knows.
In general, the story about Satoshi Nakamoto's identity never dies. Every year, there's a new twist, a new theory. I wonder if we'll ever find out the truth?
