I just paid attention to the news that Zeekr announced their 8X, and this is truly a significant step forward for the Chinese automotive industry. Not because it’s an ordinary SUV, but because it integrates Super Eva—a full-vehicle AI assistant system developed through a collaboration between Zeekr, Geely, and Qianli Technology.

The interesting part is that Super Eva runs on the Step 3.5 Flash platform, an AI model deployed from the open-source community into commercial applications. It’s not just an ordinary voice assistant; it’s a comprehensive intelligent system with capabilities for trip planning, smart driving support, and seamless integration with lifestyle services. Its essence is similar to "Grok + FSD"—combining powerful reasoning abilities with real-time command execution.

What I find most promising is that Zeekr 8X transforms the cabin into a smart hub, where users are not only supported during driving but also connected to a broader world through digital services. This signals that large AI models are stepping into practical consumer devices, moving beyond just theory.

Overall, the launch of Zeekr 8X with Super Eva marks an important milestone for Chinese automotive AI, demonstrating the real-world deployment potential of this technology.
