KelpDAO hacked: hackers haven't withdrawn yet, Arbitrum locks the door and clocks out first

If this incident were made into a movie, it would probably be—hackers just broke into the vault, and before they could fill their bags, the security at the door pressed the "lockdown" button.
Arbitrum's freeze operation was so fast that it makes you wonder if it was rehearsed in advance.
But calmly looking at it, there are actually three levels of change behind this.
First, on-chain response speed has entered the "minute level." Past security incidents were "post-event review," now they are starting to become "real-time interception."
Second, infrastructure is beginning to have "collaborative capabilities." It's not just a single protocol self-rescuing, but the entire ecosystem working together—bridges, DEXs, nodes, validators may all participate.
Third, psychological warfare is escalating. Hackers are also starting to feel anxious: they've got the money, but it might not be spendable.
This is actually very critical.
Because the essence of security is not "zero vulnerabilities," but "making attacks unprofitable."
Let’s talk about reality a bit:
Many users instinctively dislike "freezing," but from another perspective, if it were your own assets that were stolen, what would you prefer to see?
The answer is simple: stop it first, then discuss principles.
This is the most genuine value of this incident—
It turns "security" from a slogan into execution capability.
In one sentence:
Hackers used to fear code, now they fear—systems reacting faster than they do.
