Optimistic sentiment fades, Asian stock markets give back gains

Abstract generation in progress

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Asian markets showed very strong performance and high activity at the open, especially in Japan and South Korea. But now, some Asian markets have already given back part of their gains. All of this points to the typical volatility caused by the Iran war. Initially, especially on Wednesday, we saw many investors holding an optimistic view of this conflict—ceasefires were maintained, and there appeared to be a strong willingness to end the war. Investors often make decisions based on what will happen next, so we saw those stock markets rise to record highs. Now, especially with these attacks still ongoing, with no plans for peace talks, and with no clear path to truly end the conflict—some cautious sentiment has returned, so we see these stock markets falling back to lower levels.
