Leonardo DRS Unveils Modular C-UAS Package for Maritime & Autonomous Vessels
Leonardo DRS has introduced a new Modular Mission Equipment Package (M-MEP) designed to detect, track, identify, and defeat aerial drone threats for the U.S. Navy and allied forces. This integrated Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) solution is modular, allowing for rapid integration onto both crewed and uncrewed maritime platforms. The system combines maritime radar and EO-IR sensors with the AI-enabled SAGEcore software platform for command and control, and is being demonstrated on the Sea Machines STORMRUNNER autonomous vessel.
