Changan Automobile's Zhu Huazhong: Only automakers with annual sales of 8 million to 10 million units will be able to thrive in the future

On April 21, at the Changan Automobile Group Global Strategy Launch Conference, Changan Automobile Chairman Zhu Huarong said that over the next three to five years, the competitive landscape in the auto industry will basically be formed. The global auto industry will enter an era of “the strong get stronger,” and the threshold for the world’s Top 10 automakers will continue to rise. Only companies with annual sales of 8 million to 10 million truly live well; companies with 5 million to 7 million can manage to get by; and 3 million to 3.5 million can only be said to have survived.
