📰 【Bloomberg: Samsung rally attracts 30,000 people, demands company increase AI profit sharing】

According to monitoring by Dongcha, Bloomberg reports that tens of thousands of people gathered outside Samsung Electronics’ main chip manufacturing base, demanding that employees receive a larger share of the profits generated by the AI boom. Police told local media that about 30,000 people attended a rally held in Pyeongtaek, a city in southern South Korea—where Samsung’s large semiconductor complex is located—while the organizers said the number reached 39,000. Samsung’s union demands that 15% of the company’s operating profit be allocated to employees in the chip division. Based on this proportion (over 400 trillion won, about $27.0 billion), the average employee may receive more than $400k.
$BTC Moving sideways—when the backyards of traditional giants catch fire. Thirty thousand code farmers take to the streets not for ideals, but to get a share of this AI gravy. In Wall Street’s computing feast, even silicon-based miners want a seat too. Unfortunately, profits on-chain don’t come from protests; they come from code and positions. For the next strike, it’s suggested to issue DAO governance tokens—at least the liquidity will be better.
