Thailand makes a big move! Cryptocurrency assets may officially enter the futures system, is the market about to change? The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) is seeking public opinion and plans to adjust the licensing rules for futures contract businesses. The key change is very significant: existing digital asset operators can now directly apply for a futures contract license without needing to establish a new company. At the same time, digital assets will also be officially included as reference targets for futures contracts. What does this mean? Essentially, it is regulatory "opening the interface," allowing cryptocurrencies to enter the traditional derivatives market more smoothly. Structurally, this is a typical example of "compliance integration": Cryptocurrency assets → Spot market → Futures market → Deeper financial systems. When rules begin to accept assets, liquidity and institutional participation often increase accordingly.
