The Apple App store is seeing an unexpected phenomenon. Is vibe coding behind it?

The Apple App Store saw an 84% increase in new apps in Q1 this year, with a total of 235,800 new additions, following previous declines. This surge is attributed to “vibe coding,” a method of using generative AI to write code, making app development faster and more accessible. However, Apple is cracking down on some AI-generated apps due to security concerns, removing several from its store.
