CryptoWorld News reports that the informal meeting of EU leaders will be held in Cyprus from April 23 to 24.

The meeting will focus on the Iran conflict and the energy crisis it has triggered, as well as discussions on the EU's common defense and multi-annual financial framework.
European Council President Charles Michel stated in an invitation letter to EU member states before the meeting that the focus will be on the challenging Middle East geopolitical environment, and how Europe can contribute to easing tensions, promoting peace, and ensuring the safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
Additionally, Michel pointed out that high fossil fuel prices have affected the daily lives of EU citizens, and European leaders will discuss how to address energy issues.
