Min Aung Hlaing elected as Myanmar's new president with a high vote count

On April 3, local time, the presidential electoral college of Myanmar’s Federal Parliament held a vote to elect a president. Min Aung Hlaing ultimately received 429 votes and was elected as Myanmar’s new national president. (CCTV News)
