BGIN Blockchain announces settlement of disputes over its subsidiary's mining machines, with approximately 5,325 mining machines fully recovered.
ME News Report, April 13 (UTC+8), Nasdaq-listed mining hardware manufacturer BGIN Blockchain Limited announced that its U.S. subsidiary BGIN Infrastructure has reached a settlement with custodian service provider Mawson Hosting, with all mining machines fully recovered.
The incident began in June 2024, when BGIN Infrastructure signed an agreement with custodian service provider Krypton Technologies to operate approximately 5,325 mining machines.
Subsequently, Krypton defaulted on its agreement with landlord Mawson, and the mining machines were seized by Mawson.
BGIN immediately terminated the agreement and demanded the return of the mining machines, but since the machines were already in Mawson’s possession, Krypton was unable to enforce the request.
In March 2025, BGIN filed a lawsuit against Mawson in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and in June of the same year, Mawson filed a third-party lawsuit against Krypton.
After several months of litigation, the parties reached a confidential settlement agreement, and Mawson has returned all the mining machines to BGIN.
