Recently, many people have asked me: why does on-chain data sometimes "get stuck" for a moment, even though the browser can't load it and wallet balances are a bit slow? I understand this isn't because your internet is bad; it's mostly the middle layers struggling: indexers/subgraphs are responsible for organizing raw on-chain records into a searchable format, but they need to sync blocks and rebuild indexes, so when a node hiccups, there's a delay; on the RPC side, it's even more real. Public nodes often rate-limit, and if you make too many requests, they queue up or drop packets, making it look like the chain has suddenly stopped.

My usual approach is pretty rough: before key operations, switch to a different RPC, then cross-check with another browser/tool—don't rely on just one page. Especially now, attention shifts daily—memes, celebrities shout, everyone rushes in, and if it gets stuck, you might panic and sign hastily... Basically, slow down a bit, confirm authorization first, then act, and avoid being the last one to make a move.
