Trump Praises Cook: A Loyal Fan and Unmatched Career

On April 21, U.S. President Trump expressed on social media his admiration for Apple Inc.'s current CEO, Tim Cook: 'I have always been a loyal fan of Cook, as well as a fan of Steve Jobs. But I believe that if Jobs had not passed away so early and continued to lead the company instead of Cook taking over, the company would have still developed well, but it would never have been as outstanding as it is under Cook’s leadership. During my five years as president, Cook would call me, but not too frequently, and I helped him as much as I could. After several years and three or four major assists, I started telling everyone who would listen that this person is an incredible manager and leader. He calls me, and I help him solve problems (but not every time, because sometimes he asks for too much!), and he always manages to get things done quickly, without paying a dime to those expensive consultants who charge millions. In summary, Cook’s career is remarkable and nearly unmatched. He will continue to achieve excellence for Apple and any future endeavors he chooses to pursue. Cook is an amazing person!
