I'm actually most afraid of missing out not on opportunities, but on the moment when "fairness" is used as a shield.

Recently, a bunch of people are again watching the unlock calendar and shouting about selling pressure, to be honest, what everyone fears isn't the unlock itself, but that they didn't sell fast enough. The same logic applies to on-chain front-running: MEV isn't just about arbitrarily snatching profits; it mainly targets those who are "eager to trade but don't want to pay more"—small market orders, random confirmations, large slippage.

What's even more awkward is that many governance meetings loudly oppose "black boxes," but when discussing the allocation of sorting rights, Builder/Proposer splits, they act as if nothing's wrong... Anyway, I keep my mic off, and after they finish explaining the process, I ask: which type of users are you talking about? Who are you protecting, and who are you willing to sacrifice? That's all for now.
