ME News Report, April 13 (UTC+8), according to Ondo Finance’s official blog, Ondo Finance recently submitted a no-action request to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The request aims to confirm that the SEC will not take enforcement action against its model of tokenized management of specific securities interests on the Ethereum mainnet.
This request primarily involves its Ondo Global Markets (OGM) product, which offers tokenized note products providing U.S. stock and ETF exposure to non-U.S. investors.
Under this model, the underlying securities remain protected by existing laws, custodial, and record-keeping frameworks, with official ledgers and records unchanged, and only in limited cases are securities interests mapped to the Ethereum mainnet in tokenized form, custodized by BitGo, to support related record-keeping and operational processes.
