Today’s market was extremely bullish, with strong upward momentum across multiple pairs. But instead of chasing the pump, I waited patiently for a high-probability setup — and it paid off.
📊 Trade Overview: Pair: HYPER/USDT Position: SHORT Status: Currently in Profit ✅
🧠 Strategy Used (SMC – Smart Money Concept): I applied SMC concepts to identify a strong selling zone (supply area) after the market showed an aggressive pump. Instead of entering randomly, I waited for price to reach a key level where liquidity was likely to be taken.
✔️ Market created a sharp bullish move (liquidity grab) ✔️ Price entered a premium zone (ideal for selling) ✔️ Clear rejection signs from supply area
That’s where I entered my SHORT position.
📉 Why This Trade Makes Sense: After a strong pump, markets often retrace or correct. Smart money usually distributes positions at the top while retail traders enter late. By targeting these zones, we can align with institutional behavior instead of following the crowd.
💡 Current Plan: I’m still holding this position, expecting further downside as the market cools off. Risk management is in place, and I will trail profits accordingly.
