In the past, when I saw an airdrop, I’d just charge in headfirst. Whenever I saw others posting screenshots, I’d get restless and start itching to try too. As it turns out, the most common outcome wasn’t that I missed out—it was that bridge fees plus slippage got me first, and effectively rekt me all over… Now I basically ask myself one thing: Do I want to use this chain/this bridge in the future as well? If not, don’t force interactions—treat it like a lottery and it’s just too painful to be playing it.

Also, don’t let yourself get swept up just because some Meme or a celebrity shouts a couple of lines. Attention shifts insanely fast; the ones who end up taking the last step are usually just passersby like us. These days, I’m more inclined to spread things out, do smaller amounts, and go slowly—leave a little trace on-chain is enough. Don’t turn your wallet into a check-in machine in one go. Anyway, I’d rather miss out than one day have the liquidity suddenly dry up or the bridge get stuck, and end up sitting there with nothing to do. That’s all for now.
