Recently, I was asked again whether to choose grid/DCA or a one-shot trade. Honestly, don’t ask about strategies first; ask yourself if you can sleep well. If you’re the type who can’t resist checking K-line charts in the middle of the night, and your heartbeat races when you see a long wick, then a one-shot trade, no matter how “exciting,” is just an early realization of anxiety; grid and DCA at least act like a cushion for your emotions, whether you make money or not, it frees up your mind. Conversely, if you can truly endure drawdowns, accept losses without guilt, then a one-shot trade isn’t a sin. Recently, on-chain tools and tags have been criticized for lagging behind and being misleading, and I tend to see them as references rather than a steering wheel. Anyway, I see complexity as an enemy: as long as I can control myself with the fewest rules.
