The Prime Minister said he had a "very good conversation" with Trump regarding Iran.
On the evening of April 24, local time, after U.S. President Trump announced an extension of the ceasefire in Lebanon for three weeks, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made his first public remarks. In a video speech, he said that Hezbollah in Lebanon was trying to undermine the ceasefire. Netanyahu said that he had spoken by phone with U.S. President Trump regarding the ceasefire in Iran and Lebanon. He said, “On the Iran matter, I had a very good conversation with President Trump.” Regarding Lebanon, Netanyahu said, “We will continue to maintain full freedom of action to respond to any threats, including newly emerging threats. We launched strikes yesterday, and today we also launched strikes.” (CCTV News)
