New fuel pipeline moves ahead to link Texas supply with Arizona and California

Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan are advancing the Western Gateway Pipeline project after a successful second open season secured sufficient long-term shipper commitments. The pipeline will connect Midwest and Gulf Coast refinery supply to Phoenix, Arizona, and California markets, including Las Vegas, Nevada, via Kinder Morgan’s existing CALNEV Pipeline. The project aims for a mid-2029 in-service date and is expected to enhance supply flexibility and reliability for West Coast markets.
