Does a GitHub update mean the project is reliable?

I'm actually holding back from getting excited for now... Checking if the code is actively maintained is one thing, more importantly: is the audit report the latest version, and have the key changes been covered, instead of using a year-old PDF as a talisman. When upgrading multi-signature, don’t just look at “a few people signing,” I’ll also check if the signers are independent, if keys are changed frequently, and whether there are abnormal batch transfers of funds before and after the upgrade (this is more honest than slogans). Recently, AI agents and automated trading are being hyped up, but honestly, the more automated it is, the more you need to scrutinize permissions and routing; otherwise, if something goes wrong, you won’t even be able to review what you clicked. Anyway, I prefer slower interactions and fewer “smart money-style” moves.
