J.P. Morgan Bank said that tokenization could reshape ETFs and the fund sector in general over the coming years.

Siaran Fitzpatrick said that the use cases for strong ETF tokens may still be a few years away.
Tokenized ETFs could support faster settlement, improved redemption, and broader access outside regular market hours.
Siaran Fitzpatrick, the global head of ETF products at J.P. Morgan, said that converting data into tokens could impact ETFs and broader fund products over time.
Fitzpatrick said in a post published on Friday: "We believe that the process of converting data into tokens will definitely lead to a change in how the market evolves, not just for ETFs but across the entire fund industry."
