Abstract generation in progress

The Economic Daily article points out that our country has a vast range of application scenarios, a complete industrial chain, and leading technological advantages, and should adopt a more proactive attitude to embrace the new form of the intelligent economy primarily represented by tokens. Currently, China’s foundational models are more popular among top developers worldwide. In February 2026, a ranking on a global AI aggregation platform showed that the weekly call volume of Chinese models’ tokens exceeded that of American models for the first time. The pricing of domestic flagship models’ tokens is only 10% to 30% of that of flagship models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and others, and the performance gap continues to narrow. Behind tokens is the continuous development and growth of new quality productivity, enabling artificial intelligence to discover deep correlation patterns from massive data, constantly endowing data elements with new value. In the face of rapid technological changes, it is also important to recognize that tokens may face potential risks such as leakage leading to identity theft, forged permissions stealing sensitive data, and proxy commissions harvesting users. Some malicious actors have begun to target tokens, with scams disguised as “low-cost token packages” or “token proxy.” The government should continuously improve policies, regulations, and standards, cracking down on price monopolies, false advertising, and illegal financial activities to regulate token trading order. It should also promote the construction of public computing power platforms to facilitate coordinated sharing of computing resources. Firmly curb illegal activities such as “hoarding for appreciation,” speculation in “off-market transactions,” and other violations, guiding tokens back to their original purpose of technical services, value settlement, and rights transfer.
