The past couple of days, I've been checking on-chain data during breaks from latte art, and I keep encountering that feeling of "Even though I'm not disconnected from the internet, it just stalls for a moment." Honestly, many times it's not your computer being slow, but the indexer/Subgraph hasn't caught up with the latest blocks, or RPC is being rate-limited: the frontend sends a bunch of requests all at once, and the node throttles them, causing the page to spin like crazy. Recently, before and after the upgrade of that mainstream public chain, everyone was guessing whether projects would migrate. I'm actually more concerned about whether the index and RPC will hiccup during the upgrade... Anyway, I've gotten used to having an extra RPC and caching requests, so I don't put all my hopes on a single service. If you also often check data, don't rush to blame the project for running away; it might just be a data pipeline congestion.
